BOSTON - The Red Sox are getting healthier.
First baseman Kevin Youkilis is expected to be activated Wednesday after spending time on the disabled list for an oblique strain.
Youkilis went 0 for 6 on a rehab stint in Pawtucket, but said he's ready to go.
"I asked him if he wanted to go to Double A (Portland) to get some hits. He said no," Red Sox manager Terry Francona said. "He said he felt fine."
